Gridiron Football Oakland was previously operating as East Bay Flag Football (EBFF) over the last decade in the East Bay, CA area.
We are dedicated to giving kids an exciting, safe and FUN flag football experience. We teach skills needed to become better football players. We teach good sportsmanship and how to work together as a team.
EBFF has traditionally operated two conferences, each running 2 seasons in Alameda & Oakland. We now have locations around the Bay Area running seasons and events year round as part of Gridiron Football.
EBFF has successfully sent Girls and Boys team in the 13-14 Division to
compete in Orlando for the NFL Flag National Championships.
Gridiron 5 v5 Flag is a fast paced, fun filled game of 5 on 5 flag football where every player is eligible to receive the ball. There is no contact and no blocking. It is a style of play that is exciting both to play and watch.
Flag is played in over 1,000 leagues across the country. At East Bay Flag Football, the main emphasis is on good sportsmanship, skills building and Fun!
We have 6 coed divisions: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 15U, & 17U. Players may enter individually or as entire teams.
East Bay Flag Football was founded in 2013 as a CA non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
East Bay Flag Football began as a result of a medical situation with the son of the founder, while he was playing flag football in another city.
